- Purpose
- To provide licenses for all dogs, in accordance with state law.
- Service
- Licenses are valid for one year, January 1 to December 31. New licenses must be purchased before March 1 to avoid a late penalty and fine. Dogs 4 months old and older must have a license and rabies shot; cats and ferrets over 4 months of age must have a rabies shot. - Fees
- Licenses are $5 for a spayed or neutered dog, and $25 for an intact dog. A $10 late penalty is assessed beginning March 1. Senior citizen discounts are offered.
