- Purpose
- To bring the spirit of Christmas and dignity to families who face severe financial challenges.
- Service
- Santa Claus Anonymous raises money to fund gift certificates for children in the most financially distressed families. Certificates may be redeemed only at participating local merchants and only for children's toys or clothing. Certificates are distributed in cooperation with city and county Departments of Social Services agency [DSS] or equivalent organization[DSS]. Recipients' eligibility is determined by their local DSS. People interested in benefiting from the program should contact their local DSS to determine eligibility. Volunteers or merchants who wish to participate should contact the Santa Claus Anonymous office. SCA is an ongoing project and volunteers are needed throughout the year. Monthly meetings are the last Tuesday of each month. Please call or send an email for additional information.
