To provide a civic and social community organization of service-minded persons united in the bonds of friendship, good fellowship, and mutual understanding.
Service
Services include vision screening and eyeglasses;
medical equipment loans (contact - Lion Charlie Spielman, 410--756-2851); Support provided by fund raising for the Maryland Eye Bank; Leader Dogs for
the Blind; American Diabetes Association; the Taneytown Fire Department; eyeglass and hearing aid recycle; food collection and donation; local Youth Sports and Activities and other community non-profits. The club provides a scholarship to a graduating student from the Taneytown area.
Meetings are 6:29 pm on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month in the meeting room at Thunderhead Bowl, 4337 Old Taneytown Rd (Rt 832), Taneytown,
