- Our Highland Lodge has established the resort as a year round destination, featuring 2 restaurants - Eagle & The Owl Public House and Ike's Chophouse. It is also home to the Laventide Salon & Day Spa, a large event room with a terrace overlooking the golf course and a variety of multifunctional meeting spaces. Skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing take place on 100 snow covered acres December through March. The 18 Championship Carroll Valley Golf Course and all other facilities are available year round for public use as well as for private weddings, banquets and conferences. In addition to onsite customized catering, the resort has multiple dining options, and additional amenities such as an indoor saltwater pool, fitness room and pro shop with 2 golf simulators. A challenge course is also available for group team building activities. The Liberty Mountain Hotel features 116 newly renovated lodging rooms. Liberty Mountain Resort is located 5 minutes north of Emmitsburg, Maryland, and 8 miles southwest of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on Route 116.
