Purpose
To provide voluntary services, community involvement, and assistance to those less fortunate in the Gamber-Smallwood areas of Carroll County.
Service
Service minded men and women are encouraged to apply for memberships. Fundraising activities include Bingo, Great Westminster Train Show, Sandymount Park Snack Shack; proceeds are used to pay for programs to help the community's less fortunate. The club maintains an inventory of hospital equipment including wheelchairs, walkers, canes & crutches for free loan to anyone in need. The club offers Preschool Vision Screening for children 2 to 6 years old. The club assists individuals in getting eye exams, eyeglasses and collects used eyeglasses. The club also collects canned goods for distribution to those in need. The club meets at 6:30pm on the second Thursday of each month at Bullocks Restaurant, 2020 Sykesville Rd, Westminster.
