To promote conservation and provide recreation for outdoor sportsmen.
Service
Hosts Hunter Safety classes for the Department of Natural Resources, and Home Firearms Safety classes for the National Rifle Association. Sponsors sporting activities such as trapshooting, target shooting, and archery. Every Thursday night, the club sponsors a trap shoot (clay birds) which is open to the public. The shooter must provide his/her own gun and shells, and pay a fee of $5 per 25 shots. Also offers Scholastic Trap Shooting, where students ages 8 to 18 compete against others their own age, and National Rifle Association ladies handgun classes. Members meet at 7:30 pm the last Monday of each month.
Eligibility
Members must have an interest in the conservation of forests and wetlands, as well as trapshooting and target shooting.
