Thee Coalition to Protect Maryland Burial Sites promotes the preservation and protection of the burial sites, cemeteries, and grave yards in Maryland.
Service
This statewide, nonprofit organization, established in 1991, provides information and consultation on Maryland burial sites, including threats to cemeteries and individual graves. Also offers consultation on restoration of old burial sites. An annual meeting with special educational program is held in April or early May and open to all; registration is taken in advance. Speakers are available to present information on Maryland laws and the work of the coalition.
