To promote the appreciation and cultivation of the flower iris.
Service
The Francis Scott Key Iris Society is a local chapter of the American Iris Society. Conducts bus tours to iris gardens of society members; hosts regional conventions; offers accredited shows which are open to the public at no charge, and offers annual rhizome sales for members and nonmembers. As an educational project, the group grants scholarships in Ornamental Horticulture to a regional community college.
Eligibility
Only requirement is the desire to grow iris.
Fees
Dues are paid to the American Iris Society.

All ages are welcome.
Area served
Serves Carroll, Frederick, Baltimore, Howard, and Harford counties, and Baltimore City.
