The mission of the Maryland Forest Service is to restore, manage, and protect Maryland's trees, forests, and forested ecosystems, sustain our state's natural resources, and connect its people to the land.
Service
Provides technical assistance to landowners in tree planting, riparian forest buffer establishment, forest management, federal and state cost-share programs, forest fire control, city street tree management/planting/care, and forest resources education. Provides secretarial and technical support to the Carroll County Forest Conservancy District Board.
