- Service
- Penn-Mar supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living courageous lives, whether that's securing a job, being an active member of their community, building independence, or developing new relationships. Every person is unique. We all have unique goals, needs, desires, communities, and families. Our approach is to support people in living their best lives, partnering with families and friends, and helping people make meaningful connections within their communities. By providing supports in this way, we can facilitate people living a life of their choosing and achieving their short- and long-term goals. Penn-Mar provides a variety of community living services, day learning services, employment supports, family and peer supports, respite services through our Respite Inn and in-home respite as well as a variety of virtual supports.
- Eligibility
- Must be 21 years or older to be eligible for day learning, community living and personal support services. For peer supports, respite and some employment supports transitioning youth under 21 may qualify.
- Fees
- Most services provided are funded through Maryland's Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) and or the Division of Rehabilitative Services (DORS).
- Ages served
- Majority of services and supports are provided to those 21 or older but there are a select set of services provided for transitioning youth under 21.

- Serves Carroll County, Baltimore County, Howard County, and Frederick County.
