Purpose
To provide legal representation for indigent defendants at all stages of criminal, serious traffic, and juvenile proceedings in Carroll County.

Other Assistant Public Defenders include: Alexander Cruickshank, Janette DeBoissiere, Christian Horn, Lee McNulty, Thomas C. Nugent, Jr., Lyle Stalter, Jonathan Pearson, and Nancy Weller.
Eligibility
Eligibility based on net income, expenses and assets. Depending on the type of case, you will need to qualify for OPD Services through the District Court Commissioner's office or the Public Defender's office.
