Comprised of public and private organizations and individuals appointed by the County Commissioners. The board achieves positive results for children and families through: 1. Forming collaborative partnerships among public and private organizations. 2. Regularly conducting commmunity strength and needs assessments. 3. Developing strategic plans. 4. Developing community-based services and support from prevention to intervention and care afterward. 5. Securing financial resources, as well as managing grants and contracts. 6. Providing on-site monitoring and evaluation of programs and services. 7. Providing training and technical assistance. The TTY number is 410-848-9747.
