To provide early intervention services for children, birth to age three, who are experiencing developmental delays (at least 25 percent) in one or more of the following areas: cognitive, physical, speech/language, social/emotional, and self-help.
Service
Services for the child and the family may include but are not limited to: assessments, assistive technology, audiology, family training/counseling, nursing, nutritional counseling, occupational and physical therapy, psychological therapy, service coordination, social work, some health services, special instruction and speech-language therapy. Services are provided by Carroll County Public Schools, Carroll County Health Department, Carroll County Department of Social Services, and the Human Services Programs of Carroll County, Inc.
