The Carroll County Board of Elections is a team of professional, State employees. The office also has a 5-member board who is appointed by the Governor. This team of trusted election officials is dedicated to faithfully and efficiently administering the laws, policies, regulations, and court decisions of the federal, State, and local jurisdictions. The elections office is responsible for the implementation of all election-related legislation from the Maryland General Assembly and federal government. The elections team in Carroll County maintains confidence in conducting honest, transparent, and impartial elections with the highest level of integrity while making sure that every eligible ballot is counted.
