- Purpose
- To uphold the rights of individuals living in nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Carroll County.
- Service
- Ombudsmen visit with residents and provide them with information about their rights. Ombudsmen also investigate complaints about quality of care, quality of life, administrative issues and resident rights violations. Please call for more information about being an Ombudsman volunteer, and to begin the application process which includes an interview, successful completion of the required training and orientation program. Volunteers for the Ombudsman program must be at least 21 years of age.
