To carry out peacetime service to America, including many programs on veterans' affairs and rehabilitation, children and youth, community service, and national security.
Service
Serves on community and state levels. Specific programs include Boys' State, national oratorical contest, American Legion baseball, scholarships, and sponsorship of Boy Scout Troop #224. Fund-raising activities to promote these programs include bingo, karaoke nights, dances, and dinners throughout the year. The legion facility includes a banquet hall (seating capacity: 325) available to the public for functions such as wedding receptions. For hall rental, call the Post Home at 410-795-7242. General Membership Meetings are held at 7:00 pm the third Wednesday of each month.
Eligibility
Membership is open to all veterans (and eligible sons of veterans) who served honorably in the armed forces during wartime as mandated by Congress. We encourage all eligible veterans to visit the Post Home for more information.
