To promote the art of handbell ringing and encourage public appreciation of and interest in handbell music.
Service
Attracts, organizes, educates, and rehearses handbell ringers in all aspects of handbell music. Educates others in the community through performances of handbell music and educational workshops. Special activities include: Synergy - advanced community choir festival, JuBELLation - advanced beginning handbell festival, Ringer's Workshops, and Handbell Concerts. Rehearsals are from 7:30 to 9:15 pm on Thursday.
Eligibility
Membership is through audition.
Fees
The handbell ensemble has annual dues; fees for educational workshops vary.
Ages served
The ensemble is for adults; workshops are for grades 9th through adult.
Area served
Serves Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.
