To promote the hobby and sport of remote-control model aviation through education, safe flying practices, fellowship, and community outreach.
Service
Provides beginner flight training with experienced instructors, guidance in aircraft building, setup, and maintenance, and access to AMA-chartered flying fields. The club hosts public Learn to Fly events, flight demonstrations, static aircraft displays, and educational outreach activities that introduce people of all ages to remote-control aviation. Flying opportunities are available at the club's Baughers Field and Spiegel Field locations in the Westminster area.
Eligibility
Open to anyone interested in remote-control model aviation. Membership in the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) is required for club membership and flying privileges.
