To showcase the state's finest wines and give the public an opportunity to sample the products of Maryland's wineries. The first festival was in 1984.

Takes place each year (June) at the historic Carroll County Farm Museum. Hours are: 11 am to 5 pm, Saturday. Taste local wines and enjoy the outdoors in a lovely fall country setting, craft vendors of all kinds, good food and plenty of live onstage entertainment. The Museum Gift Shop is open. Handicapped accessible. Pets are not allowed on the grounds, nor can they be left in vehicles during The Maryland Wine Festival. http://www.marylandwinefestival.org/ for more information.
