- Purpose
- To aid the American Legion in carrying out its programs of peacetime service to America.
- Service
- Members serve with the men of the American Legion in a spirit of devotion to the well-being of the nation. Although it often works independently on projects of its own, the auxiliary has no purposes that are apart from the aims of the American Legion. Programs emphasize veterans' affairs and rehabilitation, children and youth, community services, and national security. Please contact the local schools for information on an essay contest, Girls State, and scholarships offered by the unit. Meetings are 7:00 pm the first Monday of each month at the post home, except January, July and August.
- Eligibility
- Membership is limited to mothers, wives, daughters, stepdaughters, sisters, granddaughters, and great-granddaughters of American Legion members or United States armed forces veterans.
