To individually and collectively experience and express God's love through commitment in Jesus Christ to worship and fellowship, teach Episcopal theology and tradition, witness to a Christian faith experience, serve persons in need, and respond in any other way inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Service
Weekly worship service: Sunday at 8:30 and 10:30 am. Child care is provided during both worship services. Sunday school ministry is open to all children and youth of our parish and is led by member volunteers every Sunday morning from 9:30 to 10:15. The church sponsors the St. James Thrift Shop at 234 South Main Street, Mount Airy (301-829-0314), for recycled clothing and household items, and the St. James Nursery School for 2-, 3- and 4-year olds.
