Purpose Everybody's Quilt Guild welcomes all members and visitors to our home on FaceBook at Everybody's Quilt Guild Events. Here you will find information about our organization.
ServiceOur History: Everybody's Quilt Guild began in October 1987, by a group of women who wanted to share their love of quilting. Guild members met in individual homes. As the guild grew, it became a member of the National Quilting Association. Today, Everybody's Quilt Guild has continued to grow and has over eighty active members. Meetings and Membership: Our Guild typically meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month. The first meeting is when we conduct our business meeting, engage in fellowship, and share quilting news and information, as well as Show 'n Tell. This is also when we have guest speakers. The doors open at 6pm and our meeting begins about 630pm. Our meeting on the third Wednesday, mid-month has doors open at 530pm and our meeting begins about 6pm. This is when we have demonstrations for our Block of the Month and workshops. Our monthly meetings are designed to educate our members and guests in traditional and new methods of quilting techniques and to promote the art of quilting in all its forms. We embrace all skill levels from beginner to advanced. We hold an Annual Charity Quilt Bingo in May and we also have our, "Fall Harvest of Quilts" Quilt show on even numbered years in November. The charities that we contribute to include, but are not limited to: Comfort Pillows, Linus Project, and Valor Quilts. We also fund an annual scholarship for a student pursuing a degree in the Textile Arts.
