PurposeTo provide a residential substance abuse program which allows the patient’s body time to become drug and alcohol free, and the mind an opportunity to understand the dynamics of addiction.
ServiceThis inpatient adult residential treatment facility offers medical treatment with trained staff on duty 24-hours a day. Certified and licensed counselors offer individual counseling along with various forms of group therapy. Motivational enhancement, anger management, problem solving, interpersonal skills training, stress management, 12-step programming, peer counseling, gender-specifc groups, role modeling, and aftercare planning are major components of the curriculum. Treatment involves the individual in treatment, family members or significant others affected by the individuals substance abuse problem. Family education and treatment is provided to ensure an understanding of the disease concept. This facility is dual-diagnosed capable and tobacco free. Donations of men's and women's clothing, personal hygiene items, cleaning supplies, craft items, and educational materials are accepted.
EligibilityParticipants must be at least 21 years of age; with a substance use problem; be in need of 24-hour, 7-day residential treatment; be willing and capable of participating in all residential program activities; demonstrate a commitment to recovery, learning, and personal growth, and sign and agree to the terms of the program consent for treatment.
