Purpose	To provide home ownership opportunities in rural areas to lower income families and individuals through loan, grant and guarantee programs, along with providing home repair assistance to current homeowners.
Service	This agency of the USDA offers home ownership loans to applicants who meet low-income requirements. In addition, this agency offers a 504 Home Repair Program providing 1% interest loans to very-low income families and individuals, in addition grants may be available under this program for senior citizens that also meet the very-low income criteria.
