Purpose | We provide our audiences with entertaining performances that are diverse in content, yet rooted in the tradition of four-part barbershop harmony. Our Chapter activities will provide our audiences, members, and prospective members with a source of enrichment, fun, and fellowship by incorporating the qualities of humor, showmanship, variety, community involvement, and audience participation. |
Service | The Old Line Statesmen will be a growing, thriving, superior quality and fun a cappella (no musical instruments) singing organization recognized as such and supported by the Carroll County Arts Council. The chorus was formed in 1982. |
Eligibility | Open to WOMEN AND MEN of all ages who enjoy singing, good friendships, and fun. No audition. The chorus rehearses most Monday evenings beginning at 7 PM at the VFW Hall, Poole Road, Westminster. Stop by to sing along or simply listen. |
Fees | Modest annual dues. |
Ages Served | Serves individuals of all ages who enjoy singing, and audiences of any age. |
Area Served | Serves Carroll, Baltimore, Frederick and Howard counties. |
