| Purpose | Lazarus Church is a community of faith, rooted in the German Reformed and UCC traditions, pursuing a lifelong love relationship with Jesus Christ. |
| Service | Worship services are held Sundays at 10:15 AM and 6:30 PM at the Lineboro VFD Hall. My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2-3 NIV Encouragement. Unity. Understanding. Mystery. These were the words that Paul used to describe the passion in his heart for Jesus Christ. And at Lazarus Church these are the same ideas that are driving our spiritual life together. Through meaningful community, committed discipleship, and transforming mission, we are drawing nearer to Christ who drew near to us and wants to radically change our lives and bring us into the abundant life of the Trinity through the cross of Christ. How do we do this? We are intentional about practicing an ancient faith much larger than any personality or denomination. While this congregation's history is the German Reformed tradition, expressed today in the United Church of Christ, our faith is solidly rooted in the ancient traditions of Scripture, Creed, and Sacrament. We believe that these timeless truths are quite relevant today, bringing Christ's love into our lives at this particular time and place. We invite you to come experience this community of faith.
