Purpose | To provide a safe and accepting environment where we teach the love of Jesus to our students while freeing caregivers to find and follow Jesus. |
Service | The HUGS Ministry meets at 9:00 and 10:30am on Sunday mornings. Classes are designed to teach the Word of God in a way that is exciting, easy to understand and relevant to the lives of our students. HUG Kids provides one-on-one assistance to children included in LPKids and Student Ministry activities, in preschool through 8th grade. Special Huggers is a class for children who require more individualized attention, and our Hug Givers class is designed to meet the needs of our teens and adults. Activities during the year include respite events, outreach events to the disability community, and a summer carnival. |
