Purpose | To provide firearms enthusiasts with a safe environment for practicing their sporting activities, and police units with a facility for conducting certification, training, and practice operations. |
Service | Located in Westminster at the Northern County Landfill on Route 140 just north of Reese Road. Open for operation Friday-Sunday for the months of January-March, 10am-4pm; and Wednesday-Sunday for the months of April-October, 10am-6pm; and Wednesday-Sunday for the months of November-December, 10am-4pm. Always closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Daily fees are $10 for Carroll County residents and $15 for out-of-county residents. Season Passes (July 1 -June 30) are $60 for Carroll County residents and $100 for out-of-county residents. Life memberships are available for $300 for Carroll County residents and $600 for out-of-county residents. Additionally, Military and Veteran's Discounted Fees (must present ID/Documentation at time of purchase) are Daily $5 for Carroll County residents and $10 out-of-County residents, and Season Pass is $30 for Carroll County residents and $70 for out-of-County residents. All Season Passes can be purchased online or in-person; Daily fees are collected at the range only. User time is limited during peak hours. |
