Purpose | To promote the use of amateur radio in the two-state area surrounding Hanover, Pennsylvania and Carroll County, Maryland. |
Service | Supports 3 repeaters: 6 meters (52.19 MHz input, 53.19 MHz output), 2 meters (146.895-), and 70 centimeters (447.675-), and A.P.R.S. Digi (144.390). Provides communication support for local public service organizations. Meetings are 7:30 pm on the second Thursday of each month at the Pleasant Hill Fire Company, 3003 Baltimore Pike, Hanover, Pennsylvania. Call (146.895-) for talk-in directions or 443-277-5170 for information about the club. As a special service, this club provides emergency communications to the West Manheim Township and the Manheim Township in Pennsylvania. Also provides radio communication for the CROP Walk in Hanover. |
