Purpose | Girl Scouts of Central Maryland provides leadership and skills development programs for girls in grades K-12 residing in Baltimore City, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford and Howard counties. In a safe and nurturing all-girl, girl-led environment girls develop the courage, confidence and character to make the world a better place, demonstrating the power of G.I.R.L. (go-getters, innovators, risk-takers and leaders). |
Service | Girl Scouts in central Maryland participate in myriad service projects that improve the communities in which they live--from gathering food for local food pantries, visiting the elderly and shut-in in nursing homes, helping to clean local waterways, building community book banks, making treats for animal shelters, to conducting soil and water surveys to assess the pollution and sediment levels, Girl Scouts are ready to serve in many ways. |
