Purpose | To promote school readiness and education for young children birth through kindergarten and their families so that children enter school ready to learn. |
Service | The Judy Center Partnership offers educational activities and programming to increase the school readiness of young children prior to school. The Judy Center facilitates an evidenced-based home visiting curriculum, Parents as Teachers (PAT) for families with young children prenatal through start of kindergarten. Come Learn with Me learning playgroups are offered several times weekly at four Judy Center sites classrooms that include Elmer Wolfe, Taneytown, Cranberry Station and Robert Moton Elementary schools. The teacher promotes and models developmentally appropriate practices to support early childhood education. The Judy Center targets children and their families who reside in the catchment areas of the listed schools. Families are served countywide by the PAT home visitation program. For further information, please contact The Judy Center Partnership at Robert Moton Elementary @ 410-751-3613. |
