Purpose	To provide child care resource and referral for parents, providers, and the community.
Service	Child Care Choices (CCC) is the state-designated Child Care Resource and Referral Center for Carroll and Frederick counties. It provides training and technical assistance to prospective and current child care providers, center owner/operators and employers. Three times a year CCC publishes a training calendar of current offerings. Workshop participants receive approved continued training hours for attendance. Staff members also answer questions that may arise regarding start-up or continued operation of a child care business. CCC maintains a Resource Room at the above address. The room, which is open to the community, includes a resource library with materials on child development related topics. A minimal fee is charged for the use of some equipment and supplies.
