| Purpose | To provide education about current environmental issues and to Carroll County students. |
| Service | Carroll County students attend Outdoor School, located at Camp Hashawha, for one week during their sixth-grade year. Students learn the process of Environmental Issue Investigation in which they acquire and analyze data, draw conclusions and take action to improve their local environment. Service learning activities are incorporated for students to participate in each week. Opportunities to learn about maintaining community, backyard, and school habitats are also offered through the Outdoor School teachers. |
