Purpose | To provide early intervention services for children, birth to age three, who are experiencing developmental delays (at least 25 percent) in one or more of the following areas: cognitive, physical, speech/language, social/emotional, and self-help. |
Service | Services for the child and the family may include but are not limited to: assessments, assistive technology, audiology, family training/counseling, nursing, nutritional counseling, occupational and physical therapy, psychological therapy, service coordination, social work, some health services, special instruction and speech-language therapy. Services are provided by Carroll County Public Schools, Carroll County Health Department, Carroll County Department of Social Services, and the Human Services Programs of Carroll County, Inc. Carroll County Public Schools is the lead agency for the program. To make a referral call 410-876-4437. |
