Purpose | To provide substance abuse education and treatment to Carroll County residents over the age of 18 who have substance use, abuse, and dependence disorders. |
Service | Provides evaluation, treatment recommendations and referral for those with substance abuse and/or mental health concerns.Provides group and individual counseling to those who are uninsured or underinsured, with Medical Assistance and Medicare.Partners with Access Carroll for medication therapies such as suboxone and vivitrol as well as health care for those who are uninsured.Offers gender specific groups, family education, nicotine cessation and parenting skills training as well.Peer Recovery Coaches work with those who need additional supports in their recovery efforts. |
Eligibility | Primarily serves the underinsured, uninsured, indigent and those with Medicare. |
Fees | Cost are billed to Medical Assistance for evaluations and treatment services. Uninsured are covered with grant funds for 30-60 days. |
Ages Served | Serves ages 18 and older. |
Area Served | Serves Maryland residents. |
