| Purpose | To make views on agriculture known in Annapolis and Washington and be in constant contact with elected representatives in both places. |
| Service | Services include supporting agricultural education and serving as a link between the farm and non-farm communities, providing group health insurance through plans such as Blue Cross & Blue Shield, and having a Safemark purchase plan similar to the Southern States Co-op plan. Other member services are also available; call for more information. Discussion groups meet monthly to air their views and problems, and search for solutions. Monthly board meetings, at which officers and directors discuss and set policy, and handle business affairs, take place at the Carroll County Agriculture Center, 700 Agriculture Center Drive, Westminster. The organization has a young farmers' group as well as an active women's committee. |
