Purpose | Carroll County Fair provides an opportunity for youth to showcase their 4-H & FFA projects. |

Service | Offering country flavor and fun, the fair takes place the end of July/first week in August each year. No fees are charged for admission; $5 per car after 4 pm for parking for the largest all-youth nonprofit fair in the state of Maryland. Events include many 4-H and FFA members' exhibits of animals, clothing, flowers, garden vegetables, and photography, as well as a parade, Wednesday night Cake Auction, horse pulls and jumping mules, Senior Citizen Day on Thursday, Friday night pit beef and pork dinner, and the 4-H/FFA member livestock sale. Other events include racing pigs, woodcarving, nightly music, Demo Derbies (combine & auto) and a concert. The 2013 fair runs from July 27-August 2. |
Eligibility | All Maryland Cooperative Extension programs are equal opportunity programs. To exhibit you must be a Carroll County 4-H or FFA member. |
