| Purpose | To provide ecumenical fellowship and shared community relief ministries including ecumenical worship, religious education, and community financial assistance for qualified in-need individuals residing in the Taneytown area. |

| Service | Comprised of clergy and lay persons representing 9 congregations in the Taneytown area. Quarterly meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month rotating among member churches. Sponsors Community Worship Events for Thanksgiving and Good Friday. A Free Weekly Meal (called the Carpenter's Table) is served on Thursdays at 9:15-11:15 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran, 38 West Baltimore St., Taneytown. In addition, Mission of Mercy Mobile Medical Van sees patients at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 38 W. Baltimore Street, Taneytown, select Wednesdays of the Month, starting at 8:30 a.m. (check Mission of Mercy Website http://amissionofmercy.org/maryland-pennsylvania/clinic-schedule). The group also relates to and supports other community ministries including a local food pantry. Limited funds are available for persons and families in the Taneytown area experiencing emergency needs; MOST requests are managed through Human Services Programs of Carroll County. |
