Purpose | To increase awareness of Medicare related Fraud and Abuse through counseling and public education. |
Service | SMP provides education and outreach to educate Medicare beneficiaries on how to protect themselves from healthcare fraud and abuse, detect it when it occurs, and how to report it when appropriate. We strive to keep the public up to date on any current trends and scams. SMP collaborates with local, state, and federal officials in reporting healthcare fraud and abuse cases. These cases can include: concerns about medical billing, health care delivery, pharmaceutical plans/costs, medical equipment, and health care concerns, and Medicare insurance marketing strategies. If you believe you have been a victim of Medicare Fraud or Abuse or if you would like more information, please contact our office for an appointment. |
