Purpose | To preserve, exhibit and interpret the museum's five historic landmarks and associated artifacts for public enrichment, education, historic preservation and research. |
Service | The museum, located in Baltimore's Inner Harbor, consists of the Coast Guard cutter Taney, USS Constellation, the World War II submarine Torsk, the lightship Chesapeake, and the Seven Foot Knoll lighthouse. Guided and self-guided tours of the ships help educate the public about their history and importance. Educational programs and overnight programs help educate the public about the authenticity and history behind these ships. Museum hours are 10 am to 4 pm seven days a week, with extended hour in summer. (www.historicships.org/hours.html) |
Fees | Adults $15-$18, Seniors (60+) $13-$16, Teen/Student (15-20 or with student ID) $13-$16, Youth (6-14) $7-$9, Child (0-5) free. Discount admission with military ID. |
