Purpose	To teach basic babysitting responsibilities and skills including Pediatric First Aid and CPR, to increase the student's awareness of the employer's expectations, and to teach basic care of children and emergency actions.
Service	Courses are given on a rotating basis in various locations throughout the county, and taught by Red Cross-certified instructors. In the state of Maryland, youth must be at least 13 years of age in order to legally babysit for children 8 years of age or younger.
Eligibility	Open to students 11 years of age or older.
Fees	Fees are charged and vary by course offerings. Please note that e-mail and any attachments sent to and from this address may be subject to the Maryland Public Information Act and unless otherwise privileged, must be disclosed to third parties.
