ServiceLaura provides individual counseling via a secure virtual online live stream platform only. Online therapy benefits are: no travel time, no chance of running into someone you know in the waiting room, and it can provide access to those who have difficulty making it in to an office. The platform is HIPAA compliant and Ms. Rhodes takes most major insurances, though you need to check with your insurance company to be sure that they will cover on-line counseling before starting, otherwise you will be responsible for the fee yourself. Several major studies have shown online counseling to be just as effective as in person counseling. https://www.apa.org/helpcenter/online-therapy.aspx Ms. Rhodes has spent many years counseling Children, Adolescents, and Adults in Individual and Group Therapy.
