Service | People with diabetes must carefully manage the disease to prevent the serious health complications it can cause. The Diabetes Program at Carroll Hospital, located in the Tevis Center for Wellness, can help you take on your new responsibilities with confidence. Our experienced, compassionate professionals partner with you to help you learn to manage your diabetes and lead an active, healthy life. Recognized by the American Diabetes Association, our program offers care, education and support for adults and children in an outpatient setting. Our diabetes services include: Diabetes Self-Management Education Programs — we offer both one-on-one diabetes instruction and "living with diabetes" group classes. Free pre-diabetes and diabetes presentations are also available to church groups, senior centers, health clubs and other private organizations. Please call 410-871-6957 for more information. |
