| Purpose | To protect the individual and collective rights of motorcyclists through public education, political change, and charitable works. |
| Service | Service: This group is Maryland's grassroots motorcycle lobbying organization. Members can receive information on upcoming motorcycle events and pending legislation by monitoring the state Abate page http://www.abateofmd.org or the Carroll County Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/121533711235689; discounts at some events and from some businesses. Actively participates as a group in state and regional activities such as swap meets, toy runs, poker runs, and numerous charitable activities. Meetings are 7:00 pm on the first Wednesday of each month Locations are going to become roving so we can move around the county so watch for meeting locations on the chapters facebook page. They will be posted the week before the meeting. |
| Eligibility | Membership is open to all interested in furthering the aims and purposes of Abate of Maryland, Inc. There are no restrictions regarding brands of motorcycles owned, nor is motorcycle ownership required. |
| Fees | Annual membership fee is $25 per person or $45 per couple. |
| Ages Served | Members must be 16 years or older. |
| Area Served | Serves Carroll and western Baltimore counties. |
