Purpose | To increase our knowledge of all types of dolls. This nonprofit organization is affiliated with the United Federation of Doll Collectors (UFDC). |
Service | Meetings are 7:00 to 9:00 pm the second Wednesday of each month, September through June, in the cafeteria of Carroll Springs School, 495 S. Center Street, Westminster. Parking is in the rear of the building. ** During the pandemic we will be providing newsletters to club members in order to stay in touch. We hope to return to in person meetings as soon as possible. COMMUNITY SERVICES: Miss Carroll’s Doll Study Club provides support to Meals on Wheels by donating miniature decorated trees for distribution to their clients; Springfield Hospital Center at Christmas by filling stockings for 25 of the residents; Shepherd's Staff by providing Filled Easter baskets which are distributed to children in need. The club also supports 2-3 different organizations each year, most recently, Freedom Service Dogs of America (Non-profit that rescues shelter dogs and trains them to be service animals), Carroll Springs School, the UFDC, and presents learning seminars that are open to the public every other year. |
Eligibility | Membership applicants must own some collectible dolls. |
Fees | Annual membership dues: $40. |
Ages Served | Members must be 18 years or older. |
Area Served | Serves central Maryland and southern Pennsylvania. |
