Purpose | To preserve the glory, spirit, and friendship of the 29th Division in all wars. |
Service | Serves as a support group for all veterans, especially elderly veterans. Visits members in hospitals and nursing homes. Visits gravesites for all twenty-niners buried in Carroll County cemeteries. Post 48 meets on the last Thursday of the month at the American Legion in Westminster at 7:00pm, unless otherwise noted on the annual meeting/events schedule. Veterans and their families are welcome to attend. |
Eligibility | To be a member, one must have served in the 29th Division and have been granted an honorable discharge. Associate memberships are available to anyone with a familial relationship to a member. |
Fees | Annual dues are $15 |
Area Served | Serves Carroll and Baltimore counties, and southern Pennsylvania. |
