Purpose | To support the University of Maryland Extension mission by educating residents about safe, effective and research based horticultural practices that build healthy gardens, landscapes, and communities. |
Service | Consists of training covering such diverse topics as tree and shrub care, home fruit production, vegetable gardening, Integrated Pest Management, flower and herb gardening, and lawn care. The Master Gardener program is a volunteer training program designed to equip participants to serve Carroll County through various activities. An additional telephone number is 888-326-9645. Annual training sessions are usually in the fall. Call for information or registration. |
