Purpose | To showcase the state's finest wines and give the public an opportunity to sample the products of Maryland's wineries. |
Service | Takes place each year during the third full weekend in September at the historic Carroll County Farm Museum. Hours are: 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday, and noon to 6 pm, Sunday. Taste local wines, attend wine seminars on a variety of topics, enjoy the outdoors in a lovely fall country setting, see crafts of all kinds, and plenty of onstage entertainment and good food. Farmhouse tours are given; the Living History Center, exhibit buildings, and the Museum Gift Shop are open. A free shuttle service is provided and is handicapped accessible. |
