Purpose | To support individuals serving as family caregivers in our community. |
Service | Provides service information to caregivers, information and referrals to community programs, support groups, training (upon sufficient demand), respite care (in home or at a facility) to temporarily relieve caregivers of their duties, and supplemental care services. Federal funds are available to help with the cost of caregiving, and can be applied to respite care and supplemental services. |
Eligibility | Programs are open to grandparents or other relatives over the age of 55 caring for a child under 18, or those caring for individuals over the age of 60. |
