Purpose | The National Kidney Foundation of Maryland is dedicated to preventing kidney and urinary tract diseases, improving the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increasing the availability of all organs for transplantation. |
Service | For more than 50 years, the foundation has supported and funded research and training. Also provides continuing education for health professionals, and various free patient programs and services. Educates the public at health fairs and screenings, works to help shape health policy, and actively raises money for programs, services, and research. Volunteer opportunities are available.
